Insurance & Rates

Insurance

I believe insurance is part of a broader system meant to support health, and I choose to participate in that system so clients can fully use the resources available to them. My goal is to provide high-quality care while making it as accessible and sustainable as possible. Accepting insurance helps reduce financial barriers so clients can focus on their well-being rather than the cost of services.

I am currently contracted with the following plans:

  • Aetna
  • Anthem Blue Cross of CA
  • Blue Shield of CA
  • Carelon Behavioral Health
  • Cigna
  • Health Net of CA
  • TRICARE West
  • United Healthcare/Optum

Please contact your plan to check your benefits and specific coverage information.

I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
  • What is my co-insurance/co-pay?
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Rates

For those without insurance or with insurance plans I am not contracted with, I do offer cash pay appointments. In some cases, plans I am not in-network with MAY reimburse clients full or in part for services rendered. In these cases, I can provide clients a superbill to submit to those plans I am not contracted with.

$300 Intake Session 60-minutes

$250 Individual Therapy 60-minutes

Payment

I accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged a late cancel/no show fee. Insurance does not reimburse for missed sessions.
